Fuse IT (Pty) Ltd built the SAPO Mobile app on behald of the South African Post Office as a free app. This SERVICE is provided by Fuse IT (Pty) Ltd at no cost and is intended for use as is.

Information Collection and Use
For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to unique application installation id is used to keep track of parcels that you have selected. Your location which you may choose not to provide is used to locate your nearest Post Office. Fuse IT (Pty) Ltd does not store your location, or any personal information with the exception of the unique application installation ID. Which links to your selected Parcel Tracking numbers. The location information that we request is retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way
The app does use third party services that may collect information used to identify you. Third party services are limited to Google Play and Google Maps. Please see the Google Privacy Statement
Location Data
The SAPO Mobile App, uses location information to find the nearest South African Post Office, the location is sent to ourservers to find the Post Office, but the location is not stored. Nor is it linked to the unique application installation ID.
Push Notifications
The SAPO Mobile Application uses the unique installation ID, the parcels linked to the installation ID, and a push notification ID to send status messages. The user may opt out of push notifications, if this is done the push notification ID is deleted from our servers.
Phone / Telephony Access
The SAPO Mobile Application provides functionality to dial the South African Post Office call center. No other information is extracted from your phone, the application does not read contact information, previous telephone number or any other personal information. The phone access is used solely to dial the South African Post Office call centre
Log Data
We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your devices's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, configuration of the app when utilising our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics. Furthermore any calls to our backend services log the incomming request which may include device identification number, parcel tracking number, and description. Location information is not saved in the logfiles.
Service Providers
We employ Amazon web services as the company responsible for hosting. Amazon does not have direct access to any information stored on the servers we use. Please refer to the Amazon Web Services privacy statements
Google Play and Google Maps are used to render the service. Please refer to the Google privacy statements
The SAPO Mobile application is property of the South African Post Office, only statistical information such as device brand, model, operating system and parcel numbers tracked is stored and provided to the South African Post Office.
We want to inform users of this Service that Fuse IT has direct access to all the data stored, and that the data stored is anonymous. However, we are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
All calls to our backend servers use SSL/TLS encryption. No personal information is stored on any server with the exception of a unique application installation id linked to parcel tracking numbers.

This Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
